We are Kalispell’s Progressive Christian Community. We are friends and families and neighbors seeking God through an inclusive welcoming community that honors diversity of values, compassionate outreach, and progressive thought. Most of us have come to the church in the last couple of years, though some have been in the church since its inception.
We are drawn to Community Congregational because we feel a Spirit of Love that speaks to our hearts and minds regardless of whether we are gay or straight, male or female, young or old, rich or poor, grew up in the church or are giving church a chance for the first time or the first time in a long time.
The Community Congregational Church is a proud member of the Shining Mountains Multifaith Center (SMMC). We share this sacred space with our partners Shining Mountains Center For Spiritual Living, Bet Harim Jewish Community of the Flathead, and a number of Buddhist meditation groups and civic organizations. It is a very unique and special community of love, respect, and unity through diversity. And we invite you to come join us in song, prayer, and fellowship at 9am every Sunday. For no matter who you are, or where you come from, or where you are in your journey of life, you are loved and you are welcome at Community Congregational Church (UCC).
